1. Introduction
Welcome to KitchenOS. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our kitchen management software and services. By signing up for an account or using our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use KitchenOS.
2. Definitions
- "KitchenOS" refers to our software platform, website, and mobile applications.
- "Customer" or "you" refers to the business or organisation using our services.
- "User" refers to any individual account (staff or admin) created under a Customer account.
- "Data" refers to all information entered into the platform including stock counts, temperatures, and compliance records.
3. Account Terms
You must be 18 years or older to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. KitchenOS cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free trial account.
4. Payment and Subscription
KitchenOS is offered on a subscription basis. All fees are exclusive of taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities. You are responsible for payment of all such taxes.
- Starter plan: £29/month (up to 5 users, 200 items)
- Pro plan: £79/month (up to 20 users, unlimited items)
- Enterprise: Custom pricing (unlimited users and sites)
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
5. Cancellation and Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing settings. Upon cancellation, your data will be retained for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in illegal activity, or non-payment after 30 days overdue.
6. Data Ownership and Privacy
You retain all rights to your data. KitchenOS claims no ownership over your data. We only collect and use data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We comply with GDPR and UK Data Protection Act 2018. You may request a full export or deletion of your data at any time.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use KitchenOS for any unlawful purpose or to conduct any activity that violates any laws. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the service or its related systems.
8. Limitation of Liability
KitchenOS is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any food safety incidents, regulatory compliance failures, or business losses resulting from use or inability to use the service.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify customers of significant changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
